What Day 1 Actually Feels Like (1:1)
You arrive at our Marsden Park salon. It's just you and Shanai — no group, no other students, no splitting her attention. We start with coffee and a chat — getting to know you, your goals, your nerves. (Yes, everyone has nerves on Day 1. It's normal.)
We then recap everything you've already learned in the pre-course online modules — so by the time you walk in, you already understand the basics. Shanai answers every question, no matter how small. No rushing, no pressure to "keep up" with anyone else.
Next, you and Shanai walk through your business setup checklist together — registering your business name, waivers, insurance, the boring-but-essential stuff most courses skip.
By mid-morning, you're holding tweezers. By the end of Day 1, you've completed your first classic, hybrid, AND volume sets on a mannequin head — with Shanai correcting technique in real time. You take that mannequin home with you for unlimited practice.
You'll walk out of Day 1 already feeling like a lash artist. By Day 3, you'll be one.
